Posted By: How May I Help You NC on October 04, 2016 North Carolina A&T State running back Tarik Cohen was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced today. North Carolina Central defensive end Frederick Henry-Ajudua was named Defensive Player of the Week. Florida A&M’s Hans Supre earned Rookie of the Week honors, while North Carolina Central’s Jamaal Symmonett received Offensive Lineman of the Week honors. OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Tarik Cohen North Carolina A&T State RB 5-6, 179, Sr. Bunn, N.C. Cohen finished Thursday night’s win over Hampton with 264 all-purpose yards. He rushed for 256 yards on 26 carries, with three touchdowns. Cohen’s 94-yard run in the 31-9 victory was the longest from scrimmage in school history.
