Posted By: How May I Help You NC on October 04, 2016 MEAC Announces Frederick Henry-Ajudua as Defensive Player of the Week, Jamaal Symmonett as Offensive Lineman of the Week Two North Carolina Central University Eagles – Frederick Henry-Ajudua and Jamaal Symmonett – have garnered weekly Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference football awards for their performances during a 31-14 victory over Bethune-Cookman, the MEAC announced Monday. Henry-Ajudua, a redshirt-senior from Durham, North Carolina, has been named the MEAC Defensive Player of the Week. Against the Wildcats, he collected six tackles with three solo sacks for a loss of 19 yards. Henry-Ajudua also earned honorable mention accolades as the STATS FCS National Defensive Player of the Week, as well as HBCU Gameday Defensive Player of the Week.
