Central's 2016 Homecoming Features a Visit from ESPN Analyst Chris Broussard and Hip Hop Recording Artist Wale

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on October 06, 2016 Central State University will celebrate Homecoming 2016 from October 9 - 16 with a week of activities that include a concert by Rapper Wale and the Saturday football game between the Central State Marauders and the Lane College Dragons. This year’s theme is “Believe the Dream” and the public is invited to join in the activities with alumni and guests. Some of the highlights include: · Wednesday, Oct. 12, 8 pm: The Central State University Chorus presents a gospel concert with special guest artists, The Dayton Chapter of Gospel Music Workshop of America. Tickets are $2 for students and $5 for adults at the door. Concert is in the Paul Robeson Cultural & Performing Arts Center. · Friday, Oct.14, 1 pm: Athletic Hall of Fame Luncheon at the Country Club of the North. Speaker is ESPN Analyst Chris Broussard. Tickets are $52. · Saturday, Oct. 15, 11 am: Homecoming parade · Saturday, Oct. 15, 1:30 pm: Football game. Tickets are $20. · Saturday, Oct. 15,10 pm: Homecoming Campus Party & Guest Performance by Wale at Beacom/Lewis Gymnasium. Tickets are $35.
