N.C. A&T's Homecoming Runs through Oct. 30; Events and Activities Set

A&T will celebrate its 90th Homecoming, better known as the Greatest Homecoming on Earth. Some notable events include: •“Comedy House Party” Comedy Show starring Michael Blackson with special guests Lil’ Duval, Wil Sylvince and host Kountry Wayne, at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.), Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Corbett Sports Center •Fall Convocation at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27 in Harrison Auditorium •Homecoming Parade, 8 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 29. Will start on Murrow Boulevard; end at Aggie Stadium A full list of activities and events is available on the 2016 Homecoming website. WHEN: Sunday, Oct. 23 – Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016. The official Homecoming 2016 game against rival, Florida A&M University will begin at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29 in Aggie Stadium. WHERE: Throughout the N.C. A&T campus and at designated areas throughout the city of Greensboro, North Carolina. See the official 2016 Homecoming website for specific locations. WHY: N.C. A&T’s annual homecoming is not only a highly-celebrated university event, it is a significant event for the City of Greensboro, who partners with the university in events and security. RSVP: Homecoming 2016 media credentials required prior approval. For those who have been notified, approved credentials are available for pick-up beginning Monday, Oct. 24, in the Office of University Relations located in the Alumni Foundation Event Center, 200 North Benbow Road. *Credentials do not grant access to the homecoming game or any student events* About North Carolina A&T State University North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is the nation’s largest historically black university. It is a land-grant, higher research university and constituent member of the University of North Carolina system.
