8 HBCU Grads Offer Advice for First Year Students

Each school has a unique personality and atmosphere of their own, different from anywhere else. As first-year students settle into the beginning of their School Daze, they may be challenged in adjusting to the new setting. Getting acclimated should not be difficult, outside of trying to make the band. NBCBLK reached out to a diverse group of successful HBCU Seniors, staff, and alumni to share advice for students to be able to maximize their success on and off the yard.
