My dream school
Posted By: Brandi on January 30, 2006

My dream school was howard since i was middle school. But when I recently went up there i was sooooo disappointed. I was not feelin it at all. Everybody there was all uppty(if u kno what i mean). Chicks was dressed to impress like they was goin to the club. Damn all u doin is goin to class, why u gotta be all daper? Long story short I was not feelin it, and i was really mad cuz i thought that was my dream school

That's one of the reasons I didn't even apply to Howard. I personally needed a change of scenery from what I was used to. It's good you got a chance to see Howard before you made a choice you would of regretted. Howard is good for some people, bad for others. It all boils down to who you are and what makes you happy. Best of Wishes and hope you find your TRUE dream school.

That is soooo crazy!!! Howard has been my dream school as well. I was planning to get my masters from there after I graduate in December. I was also planning to take classes there this summer just to get a feel for it but dang. . .it's like that, huh?

It never was my dream school, Mississippi State all the way baby! I love it...15,000 strong, big campus, the SEC, and even though it's not the Atl or some other big city I still love it and I wouldn't change it for the world! I toured it my senior year of high school..didn't even get to see all of campus til orientation, but I can go to class in my pjs, some sneakers, or a bath towel if I wanted...I don't, but I don't go G'd up like the ladies do at Spelman/Clark/Howard, etc.....that's not necessary to me! Only a black school you'll find that!
