The only words I can find to describe our 10th Anniversary Celebration for James Brown with Marshall Thompson of The Chi-Lites, Tony Cook of The JB’s, Darrell Brown (God-son of Soul) Deanna Brown Thomas (God-daughter of Soul), Fannie Brown (God-sister of Soul) Jerry Poindexter (Key-Boards -The James Brown Band), and J.D. Cook-Entertainment Attorney to The Chi-Lites, James Brown, Dinah Washington, Moms Mabley). Soul School Music co-hosted by Marshall Thompson of The Chi-Lites, and Beverly Black, the creator of TRIBE Family Channel and Soul School Music honors James Brown, who passed away Christmas Day in 2006. This 10th year Anniversary of his passing brings together family, friends and band members of the God Father of Soul. Sponsored by Genius is Common.
