The drink company presented Benedict's president, Doctor David Swinton, with a $100,000 check Tuesday afternoon. The new state of the art stadium will seat 10,000 to 15,000 Tiger fans. The upper level will serve as classrooms and press suites. The new stadium is scheduled to open this fall. Last month, Charlie Johnson, businessman and chairman of the board at Benedict, donated $200,000 of his lottery winnings to fund the stadium project. Before that, Johnson gave $1 million.
