Introducing Miss UNCF 2017!

Introducing Miss UNCF 2017!
Posted By: Elynor Moss on February 07, 2017

Miss UNCF Lane College is Kashuna Wright, a sophomore majoring in English from Memphis Tennessee. She is the daughter of Kamilah Wright and Christopher Watson. Her favorite past times are writing poetry and volunteering at her home church. Kashuna is an active member of the Pre Alumni Council.

Her decision to compete for the title of Miss UNCF was motivated by her drive to strive for excellence and to become more confident in her goals and dreams.

She has always been motivated by her family and peers to continue to excel in life. She believes that God never makes mistakes and what he has for you is only for you.

She will represent Lane College during the National Alumni Council/National Pre Alumni Council Leadership Conference in Atlanta, GA Feb 2-5, 2017. She will be escorted by Mr. Marcus Bullock, a member of the class of 1977 and Treasurer of the National Alumni Council-UNCF.

We congratulate Ms. Wright!
