Posted By: How May I Help You NC on February 07, 2017 Daytona Beach, Fla.- The College of Business and Entrepreneurship recently received program accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The accreditation process began in 2011 with a preliminary evaluation of the accounting, business administration and finance program. The college received endorsements from ACBSP through meeting the overall requirement standards: leadership, strategic planning, student and faculty stakeholder focus, measurement and analysis of student learning performance, faculty and staff focus, and educational and business process management. “The faculty members are excited for this acknowledgement as each of them served on a committee to provide efforts toward our ACBSP approval,” said Ida Wright, Dean of the College of Business and Entrepreneurship. The ACBSP accreditation serves the College of Business and Entrepreneurship as a premier college that provides quality standard programming and learning environments for potential students and current students. “In this competitive environment it is our focus for employers to find it reassuring that the College of Business and Entrepreneurship has met quality standards of an independent agency such as ACBSP and received their seal of approval,” Dean Wright said.
