Posted By: Nathan Wilson on February 12, 2006 I remember when I got accepted in to Hampton University, it was one of the most exciting experiences of my life. Coming off of 12 yrs of prep school, and being a minority my whole life, Hampton was my other side of the rainbow. Then disaster struck... My parents divorced, my mom quit working, times got rough. I never was able to enroll because I ran into tough family times, and even rougher financial times. Well anyway I managed to go to a college in Jersey, only to miss 3 semesters and i hated it! I'm now 22 but I STILL want to go to an HBCU. I know that I would be like 24 when i graduate, I want to major in communications, what are your thoughts?
