$5,000 Tuition Assistance Program with AAMU!
|
Posted By: Will Moss on February 20, 2006 The USDA Forest Service is committed to ensuring that its future work force reflects our nation's increasingly diverse labor force. Thus, the National Multicultural Recruitment Initiative Program at Alabama A&M University is one strategy the USDA Forest Service is utilizing to realize that goal. The primary purpose of the program is to attract students who traditionally have been under-represented in the field of forestry and other natural resource sciences (e.g., botany, environmental and plant and soil sciences). Financial awards of $5,000 per year are available for each undergraduate student who meets the eligibility criteria. Additionally, the program provides paid work experience and a portion of travel expenses to and from summer assignments.
