Posted By: Kenneth Goens on February 22, 2006 I have a confession to make... And this may or may not break the tip on the ice burg... But BEFOR I CONTINUE, THIS IS SPECIFICALLY FOR THE LADIES... I've got a question... What are the women of today looking for? I mean, some of it is quite obvious, but some things remain hidden. I know that some women want a sophisticated, determined, intellectual indevidualistic man. And others, who knows? You see... I get asked this alot... " Kenneth, what are you doing single?" And I can only answer honestly... I know what I want, and there is no reason for me to waist her or my time pretending to want a relationship. I feel that it is more respectable to our women to have female friends, rather than to have alot of girls that you mantain a steady relation ship... Now If I am completely wrong... PLEASE TELL ME... Well, to start off with what women want, most women these days wants someone who is going to be true to them, cause like me many of us have gotten our hearts broken so many times it's not fun. I mean yeah fella's get theirs broken to but most of the time it's the ladies. We also want someone who is going to see the good on the inside and on the outside, cause some fellas just see what's on the otuside think its' all good. We want someone who is going to inspire us to follow our dreams just like yall. U said the rest up there. I agree with u on the relationship thing also. If u haven't found that one yet it's all good. Just make sure that they understand ur meaning of a friend cause some people have different meanings of friends. Especially if u don't want to be known as a dog, playboy, etc.

I know what I am looking in a man is someone who will introduce themseleves instead of approaching u with those stupid lines, someone who just brings u flowers just because, someone who takes u out places, compliments u, and doesnt try to rush u into s*x all of the time. Cause to me if u just stare into the persons eyes and wait for a couple of months then it makes it more romantic. I like guys who dress up and wear button up. Guys who are in school to become something not just to get by. Guys who take care of theirseleves. That's what I like in a man but that is so hard to fine.

I can't speak for all women, but I want a man that I can trust. I want a man that I can depend on; a man who listens to me when I talk; a man who is supportive of me. I want a man who has set goals, but is willing to work to achieve them- he's not just a dreamer.

I'm looking for honesty, FAITHFULNESS, integrity, and a good personality. But right now I'm not even looking no more but when the right one stumbles upon me then I'll be grateful. One thing I wanna know is why are guys on here sounding all sincere but when it comes to real life they don't act like that? Maybe women wouldn't act the way we do if ya'll didn't act the way that ya'll act. Just a thought.
