Posted By: Kenneth Goens on February 26, 2006 ( THIS CAN BE FOR EITHER MALE OR FEMALE...) Here's a quote that was sent to me in response to my most rescent blog entry... "But we (females) don't express what we want to men that we're dating- that's part of the problem. A lot of you will never know what we want because we don't verbally express it to you." Ok... Now by reading this I have come to the conclusion that if both the male and female party were more assertive about their thoughts, many of the failing relationships would last longer. I know this is true, but what can we do as partners in relations do to carry this out. I beleve that this is a topic that could eother make or brake a relationship... the reason why females don't express how they feel could be because they dont know how so what we as man should do is make them feel comfortable or maybe express how we feel to open that door to how they feel.

I agree with what Tony said. I know that it would be a lot easier for me to verbally tell my b/f what I wanted out of our relationship if he told me what he wanted out of it first. I mean, if he demonstarted that he didn't have a fear of expressing his feelings, I would feel more comfortable doing the same. But that's just it, we both have to comfortable enough with each other to be able to express our true feelings. One of us has to be willing to go out on a limb and share their feelings.
