Southern’s Lenard Tillery signs with Rams

Southern’s Lenard Tillery has signed a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Rams. Despite compiling 4,856 rushing yards in his career at SU, Tillery was not selected in last week’s NFL Draft. “Thanks for all of the support and prayers through the years,” Tillery told the fans via HBCU Gameday’s Steven J. Gaither. “Looking forward to representing myself as well as the university on the next level. To God be the glory.” The Rams currently have four running backs on the roster, including 2015 first round pick Todd Gurley.
