For Top Graduate Abrahana James, Graduating from FVSU is Another Step Towards Greatness
|
Posted By: How May I Help You NC on May 05, 2017 Abrahana James is the FVSU Spring 2017 graduate with the highest grade point average. She may be from Atlanta, GA, but she felt like she was at home the minute she stepped foot on campus. Her grandmother convinced Abrahana when she was a young child that she was going to be great. She believed her grandmother, and it became a self-fulfilling prophesy. She thrust herself into everything with the goal of excellence, conducting herself as if she was achieving greatness every day. Even so, there were challenges along the way, and her mom served as a critical support system. Her degree, she says, belongs to her family as well. The business administration major has already accepted a job offer to work with a Fortune 500 company, and plans to earn her MBA. She also wants to work with others to help the establish businesses of their own. “My ultimate goal is to coach entrepreneurs to get their businesses off the ground and to make their dreams come true, and in the process, I’ll be doing the same for [my dreams]. James will speak during Spring Commencement on May 6, 2017. See video: http://www.fvsu.edu/top-graduate-abrahana-...
