SECOND TO NO ONE!

Are you taking notes and seeing what is happening all around us concerning our government? To stay on course, I normally make it a point not to focus on the news. And if truth be told, I have a next door neighbor who keeps me abreast of everything before I get in my front door. Mainly because she knows I'm not the least concerned so she feels it is necessary to make me aware. Well, yesterday, I simply explained: Our new president is who the people wanted. So, they made their choice and now we must live with it, respect it and embrace the decision whether we agree with it or not! Clearly, the people wanted a dictatorship rather than a democracy. They wanted a KING rather than a LEADER. Surely you know the difference? If not, look at all the other Nations for a comparison and tell me what do you see? When you get the opportunity, please read 1 Samuel 4. Yes, I know many would argue with me to say “this is not what the people wanted and God doesn’t make mistakes! So, let me start by saying, CORRECT. God doesn’t make mistakes nor does he need our permission or approval for anything. And, His Word is very clear! His ways are not like our ways and our ways are not like His. But, if we believe and trust who He is then we must also set our minds to stand on His Word. Romans 8:28 states, And we know ALL things (not a few or some, but ALL things) work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance to His purpose. If you truly believe that God is all powerful, all knowing and is - as well as can be - everywhere all at once – at the same time, then what’s the issue? Can’t He turn any situation around according to His Will? Does He not have the power to allow or disallow that which takes place? Now, let’s go a little deeper! Yes, it is clear the visible vote as it pertains to the electoral in comparison to the public side offers a great deal of disparity. But have you considered the invisible vote? The hearts of the people!!! We value reputation and give no thought to the true meaning of character or integrity. We talk about image and only give credence to the illusion of it all while giving no thought to the real substance. Why? Because we would gladly accept the imitation only to abandon and avoid the real McCoy! Do you see the irony of it all? And yet, we still refuse to change! We refuse to return to our first LOVE. HE is second to no one and the government sits on HIS shoulder! WATCH AND PRAY WITHOUT CEASING! Isaiah 9:6-7 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. WE HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO APPLY THE WORD OF GOD TO OUR EVERYDAY LIFE AND ACT ON IT ACCORDINGLY – BY WALKING IT OUT!
