Posted By: Hija Chang on May 11, 2017 FEATURED Content The Virginia Democratic Coordinated Campaign is the Democratic Party of Virginia’s statewide electoral effort to elect Democrats up and down the ticket in 2017. The Coordinated Campaign's grassroots infrastructure will span statewide in all 95 counties and will work to energize and empower local communities in support of electing the next Democratic governor and the Democratic ticket. We invite you to participate in our unpaid summer fellowship program, which is designed to provide the next generation of leaders with practical experience in political organizing. Working under the supervision of Coordinated Campaign staff, Summer Fellows will be responsible for various tasks focused on community engagement, they will recruit, train and manage volunteers. Fellows will also participate in voter contact, working to persuade and mobilize voters to turn out for the Democratic candidates up and down the ticket. This position will be based across the Commonwealth of Virginia. Applicants should be available to devote 10-40 hours a week to the Fellowship Program.
