WRITE THE VISION

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. ~ Habakkuk 2:2-3 May 21, 2017 Did you know that just as there are power in words, there is power in writing things down too? When I prepare for a test, I write down the questions and the answers in accordance to my understanding for being able to recall the information at a later date when and if needed. For me, it's not important just to know the answer. But, to understand the answer as it pertains to me in accordance to how my mind is wired to be able to retain it, relay it to others and teach it at various levels from the young to the old in accordance to the understanding of others for them to grasp it and take hold of it! When God gives me a vision, I need to write it down or journal it - if you will - to take hold of the message by digesting it to meditate on it and believe it. The more I do that, the more it becomes real to me and it actually starts to manifest or materialize in my heart and mind to take shape while releasing all that isn't true to walk in my God-inspired truth. For years, even to this day, I have found myself surrounded by people who have attempted to write my story for me by telling me who I AM in accordance to what they want me to believe. But, in spite of the noise around me, there is a Heavenly voice which pushes His way through the dark untruths to deliver life and light to my soul. He not only tells me that I AM special, but He shows me just how special I AM to Him by reminding me every day of my true self. He has shown me a vision of myself speaking up and out to crowds of people without fear. Not limited to speaking in front of a podium on a stage. Not limited to speaking in an auditorium, a church or a classroom. Not limited to speaking on a street, a subway car or a alley, but to a nation in the name of God's glory and greatness. Not for show, reputation or competitiveness, but for the love of a FATHER who has shown me who I AM in Him and Him in me to write the vision and make it plain. There was a time in my life when the pain of yesterday and today consumed me. A deep debilitating and piercing pain which threatened to put me in a lifetime headlock of bondage tied to misery. And, I was starting to believe the naysayers as I stopped dreaming of a new tomorrow. Then God stepped in and showed me not necessarily how to escape the pain, but He showed me how to arrest the pain to rise above it to conquer it and tell my truth. He showed me how to use that pain and gave me a voice and a way of living to show how I could rise above any storm with Him by my side to "proclaim liberty to the captives." As I share my truth, I AM given a new life, new strength through Jesus Christ and a new song of joy in knowing my pain was for not! It didn't kill me, it didn't weaken my SPIRIT; it was and is all a part of my purpose driven vision to prosper me in raising me higher. For God I live and for God I die in knowing who I AM!
