Posted By: Hija Chang on May 24, 2017 FEATURED Content Vice President of Finance Summary of Principle Duties: Provide and ensure mission-focused vision and leadership to achieve and maintain excellence in our financial operations. The VP of Finance serves as the principal fiscal officer of the Agency; oversees all fiscal activities related to the budget, revenue, expenditures, funding and all related compliance and recording keeping. They will directly supervise the finance department (3 direct reports), be a member of the Executive and Senior Management Teams and work closely with the Finance, Audit and Investment Committees of the board, and assists in developing long-term financial strategies to drive and achieve the organization's mission and strategic plan. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, management and monitoring of the fiscal activities of the organization, grant administration and compliance, analysis and interpretation of statistical and accounting information to ensure effective operating results with costs, budgets, policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and 2 CFR 200 -Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles; management of liability insurance packages; and recruitment, supervision & training of the finance staff. All responsibilities are implemented according to our mission and values and according to Agency standards, including the Sanctuary Model.
