The University of Iowa is a NCAA Division I Power 5 institution and a member of the Big Ten Conference. The Department of Athletics manages 24 varsity sports programs and operates under a “Win. Graduate. Do It Right.” philosophy. The primary functions of this position include managing the office and reception staff, coordinating events, and assisting with operations for the football unit. Typical duties include hiring, supervising and evaluating part-time staff; assisting with the planning and execution of key events, including meetings, banquets, recruiting visits, and camps/clinics; act as primary resource to staff regarding University or Athletics policies and procedures; assist coaches and operations staff with the management of the operational needs of the football program.
