i'm going to Xavier!

Posted By: Portia Gordon on March 07, 2006 so i've decided that in the fall i'll be attending Xavier university of Louisiana, unless another Katrina comes. but i'm not gonna wish that but just in case it does i'll be attended Spelman. i'm so excited and ready to go to an HBCU. i've spent my whole life in a school with nothing but white people and believe me i had to call on God many times to keep me from going after some of them. But i do beleive that i'm more prepared for the real world because of my high school experience though. ready for the world where i'm one of the few blacks in a world run by white people. that's fine by me because i have a strang will and i won't stop until i reach the top and since i'm able to see them on their level i will have the upper hand at advancing myself in their world. but i digress, i'm so excited to go to a school where everybody looks like me so i can bond and be able to make relationships that will last forever.
