Landowner symposium at Voorhees June 22-23

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on June 12, 2017 The Center for Heirs’ Property Preservation and the USDA/SC Natural Resources Conservation Service will hold the 2nd Annual “SC Rural & Limited Resource Landowner Symposium on the Voorhees College campus in Denmark June 22-23. Those who want to learn about forestland management, how to grow trees for income, heirs’ property rights and resolutions, conservation planning options and agricultural farming for income are invited to call the Center for Heirs’ Property Preservation to make a reservation to attend the symposium. The free event will offer a full day and a half of expert speakers and programming. All housing accommodations and meals on campus will be provided with a formal reception and dinner scheduled Thursday evening. The first 100 rural landowners to register will receive priority access to USDA conservation and resource opportunities. Among the featured speakers will be Dr. Drew Lanham, alumni distinguished professor of Wildlife Ecology, Forestry and Environmental Conservation at Clemson University.
