Posted By: Hija Chang on August 29, 2017 FEATURED Content DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY, TRINITY UNIVERSITY: Full-time, tenure-track position (assistant professor), beginning August 1, 2018 in Neuroscience. The successful candidate will be capable of developing an active research program with undergraduates, resulting in peer-reviewed publications. The area of research specialty is open. Teaching responsibilities include Introduction to Neuroscience and courses in the area of specialization. TU has a robust interdepartmental neuroscience major and the candidate could influence the direction of this program. Trinity University is a selective, primarily undergraduate institution of approximately 2500 students and 240 faculty, located in San Antonio near major medical and research facilities. Trinity values excellence in teaching, including mentoring of undergraduate research students. Trinity was recently ranked #6 in the nation for combining excellent scholarly research with classroom instruction by the Wall Street Journal. We offer ample research space in a newly constructed science center (including equipment for histology, hormonal assays, behavioral testing, and a state-of-the-art vivarium; access to MRI is via UTHealth San Antonio) and funds for travel and other professional development.
