THE SOULS OF MY ANCESTORS

So you testify that you approve of what your ancestors did; they killed the prophets, and you build their tombs. Because of this, God in his wisdom said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and others they will persecute.’ Therefore this generation will be held responsible for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning of the world, from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, this generation will be held responsible for it all. ~ Luke 11:47-51, New International Version (NIV) God is nothing like any man or person on the face of this Earth; past or present! HE is a SPIRIT; a ball of energy or life force that existed long before the world took shape and people were created by Him to inhabit the Earth. I believe, many of us, conveniently forget that it is because of HIM that we exist and NOT the other way around! So, don't get it twisted! In Genesis 1:26-27 states, Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth.” So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them [Amplified Bible (AMP)]. God is the DIVINE and ULTIMATE CREATOR of the universe and everything within and outside of it! Christ, the Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him [Colossians 1:15-16New International Version (NIV)]. The invisible or the intangible which also represents the supernatural and the visible or tangible which also represents the natural is under the command of God! NOTHING happens or takes place without HIS permission; although we think that it is us who is in control of EVERYTHING! No, not TRUE at all and we will be held accountable for every action! There is a DIVINE ORDER to it all; which, unfortunately, is not considered or acknowledged by the human race as intended and laid out by God! We are TRIPART BEINGS made in HIS image; SPIRIT first and foremost without a physical form or appearance. Spirit is neither male nor female but has the ability to assume both identities to be able to interact effectively with one another. It is the outer shell which is termed the flesh that houses our Spirit to give us a physical form and presence on the Earth within this dimension known as the physical or natural realm. But, we have the ability to exist in both dimensions simultaneously and at the same time; the natural and the supernatural realm! Inverting everything, we tend to believe that the natural realm is more real than the supernatural realm, but it is the other way around. The natural realm cannot and would not exist if it were not created out of the supernatural. The supernatural which is the natural dwelling or habitat of the Spirit existed first and foremost before the dimension we call Earth; AND, the natural (physical existence) can easily be void or wiped out by the supernatural - which is also referred to as being the spiritual realm! At a very early age, long before developing a deeper knowledge or awareness of injustices in the world, there was an unexplainable burning and ache in my heart for those who were mistreated, abused or taken advantage of by others! As time went on, I felt a growing intense loathing for slavery, racism and chauvinism as if I were - at one time or another - present and existing during periods in history when my ancestors suffered greatly. Until recently, I never understood the connection; but, then God began to reveal and unlock TRUTH concerning history repeating itself and generational soul ties that bind through blood, soul and spirit on the basis of Godly (healthy) or ungodly (unhealthy) relationships. Without form, as SPIRIT BEINGS, we are more alike than we are different! Limitless to walls, doors or windows which cannot contain us and connected to a divine and greater source (a three strand cord) which cannot be easily broken. In fact, 1 John 5 speaks of witnesses in the Earth (the blood, the water and the Spirit) and in heaven (the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit) which reads: 5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 6This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one (KJV). That's divine unity! Now, let's go a little deeper! Are you familiar with the story about Cain and Abel? Cain thought he could hide the offenses he committed against his brother, Abel. In Genesis 4:10, the Lord said, "What have you done? Listen! Your brother's blood cries out to ME from the ground. Little did Cain know about the power of the blood to speak in the Earth from beyond the grave and above the ground to be heard! Yes, the blood speaks and it has a testimony! Deuteronomy 21:1-9 declares that the righteous blood cries out for vengeance and Deuteronomy 32:35 declares vengeance is the Lord's; therefore, He will make it right! So today, in the year 2017, the blood of Abel still cries out! And through God who is my Lord, Master and Savior, not only am I connected to my ancestors but many others who are able to speak and share their pain which is relative to mine. The pain of being singled out, rejected and ostracized on the basis of jealousy, skin color, gender, appearance and social class while being told - over and over again - that certain conditions and mindsets from times past no longer exist when that is farther from the truth! Pain is not always easy to ignore! And, somehow, unfortunately, people want you to believe that pain can easily be ignored, pushed aside, tucked away and swept in a corner. But, sometimes, that same pain is revived by God for a purpose! Jesus' pain was evidenced by Him taking the weight of our sins unto Himself to save us from ourselves! In my case, He uses pain to sear deep within my subconscious mind as well as my consciousness that which no man can make me doubt through fear, manipulation or intimation! ULTIMATELY, God uses PAIN, in my life, to unleash (reveal) REALITY through REVELATION! He uses it to teach me the nature of being a burden bearer in demonstrating the realness of His connection to us ALL and the power of intercession for His glory! Many nights, I lay awake and cry in agony in hope of change for a better tomorrow as I pray myself to sleep for my soul and yours. If we only knew and truly realized just how much we are connected to one another – above and beyond our outer appearance, would we do better at treating one another with greater respect in putting ourselves in the place of one another? “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” ~ MATTHEW 22:36-40 REFERENCES: 2 Corinthians 1:3-11 ~ All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too. When we suffer for Jesus, it works out for your healing and salvation. If we are treated well, given a helping hand and encouraging word, that also works to your benefit, spurring you on, face forward, unflinching. Your hard times are also our hard times. When we see that you’re just as willing to endure the hard times as to enjoy the good times, we know you’re going to make it, no doubt about it. We don’t want you in the dark, friends, about how hard it was when all this came down on us in Asia province. It was so bad we didn’t think we were going to make it. We felt like we’d been sent to death row, that it was all over for us. As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened. Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally—not a bad idea since he’s the God who raises the dead! And he did it, rescued us from certain doom. And he’ll do it again, rescuing us as many times as we need rescuing. You and your prayers are part of the rescue operation—I don’t want you in the dark about that either. I can see your faces even now, lifted in praise for God’s deliverance of us, a rescue in which your prayers played such a crucial part. 1 Corinthians 14:40 ~Let all things be done decently and in order.
