Bye Bye , Hello

Bye Bye , Hello
Posted By: Nik on March 12, 2006

This week seemed to just fly by with everything that's been going on. Nothing really bad persay, but then again nothing to jump through hoops for.
The marking period ends this upcoming week which means the report cards should be out by next tuesday or so. Bye Bye 1st marking period where we can all lolly gag and not really see any difference in our grades. *tear* I'm not worried about that, school is no problem for me. I mean dang, I'm only there 4 hours a day, how bad could I eff up?
Things in the house have been getting a little hectic as my mother's condition becomes more real to me. She told me the other day that when she first had the back problem 2 years ago she was dianosed with Degenerative Disk Disease but didn't tell anyone. Now they've got her on all kinds of meds because the disks are pinching a nerve that goes to her leg. They have to do a surgery or she could be paralyzed/partly paralyzed. The problem is the surgery is so damn dangerous, you could become paralyzed from that. She's scared more than anything, and now it's becoming too real for me to tell myself that she's just exaggerating. Hello hard times.
My relationship has been going really great, no real complaints there. I'm just alil sad we have to wait another 2 weeks before we see each other because money is alil tight right now. Next weekend Aunt Flo should be blowing through so that would be a waste of a weekend to go down.

I'm trying to plan our 2 year anniversary weekend but I'm still not 150 on what I want to do. I know we're going to go to the Vivian Green concert in Long Island on the 21st of April but I dunno what we're going to do for the rest of the weekend. I had to tell him about the concert so he could take the day off. Our anniversary is the 16th of April but he's supposed to be going to St. Lucia to see family during the week of my birthday (the 10th) through the 17th. So no, I wont be seeing my hubby for my 18th b-day :-( but I've had some pretty damn good promises made to me for the anniversary weekend :-D. Helllloooooo Mr. Man.
With the tennis season under way I don't even have time to find a job now. I have practice 3 times a week, not to mention matches. Then I have all this club stuff starting to kick off, everything is getting a little hectic. My mood is alot better than it was last week though so I know I can handle everything. Oh wow, I just remembered my damn AP English Anthology *rolls eyes*.
It seems like all at once Spring has come to New York (not that winter was that ill this year anyway). I was walking down the steps at school on my out the building on Friday and I caught a smell that changed the seasons in my mind. It was that kind of humid, fresh cut grass, spring-ish smell. All of sudden things like graduation, prom, and leaving for Howard seem like tomorrow. I mean my 18th birthday is less than a month away. Then it'll be bye bye bowling alley and helllooooo strip club! YAY!!!!
