Preachers Kid Turned Gospel Artist REGI MCCLURKIN Releases Annointed New Single "Rejoice"

Posted By: LaMarr Blackmon on October 13, 2017 REGIMCCLURKIN.COM Regi McClurkin is continuing the legacy of four generations before him as being a “PK” (preacher's kid) and has dedicated his life to be an instrument used to the glory of God. With humble beginnings in Chester, South Carolina he has blessed and captivated audiences throughout the country and abroad as he ministers to the masses as a singer/musician, composer, guest speaker and worship leader. Regi consistently displays the evidence of a strong Christian foundation within the McClurkin family as was taught by his parents and grandparents. At the age of seven he accepted the Lord as his personal Savior and committed himself to winning souls for Christ. In 1981 Regi married the former Denise Abrams and together they've been blessed with two children, Stephen and Stacey. Currently he travels throughout the year to perform as a recording artist and/or praise & worship leader on various concert venues, or as a guest motivational speaker. He also conducts or participates as a clinician on numerous conventions, seminars and other such industry workshops. Yet still Regi does find the time to regularly participate in all services and activities of his local church and currently serves as “Director of Music Ministries” for the St. Mark UMC, located in Hanover, MD. Regi received his formal education in the Baltimore public schools graduating from Northwestern High School. He’s also a proud alumnus of Towson University, the Peabody Conservatory of Music and also the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In his professional endeavors he’s the President and founder of both the Oyez Production Company, Inc. and OMC Records; his own independent record label. Regi is an active member of various associations, conferences and other such organizations that promotes excellence within the gospel music industry. He has also been a featured Artist on several Christian television broadcast and various gospel music industry magazines and other publications. Regi's genuine love for people along with his sincere warm personality, has gained him much respect and admiration. He loves to make all in his presence feel comfortable as if being around an old friend. He has the heart of a true servant and truly finds joy in taking the time to help others along the way. His passion for Christ is obvious to all as he lives his life in a way that exemplifies the verse as found in Psalm 34:1 “I will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Once you have witnessed the ministry, presence and friendship of "Regi McClurkin" you’ll certainly agree this man has been blessed, touched and anointed by our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
