Texas State Rep John Zerwas Delivers Coin Toss for Texas Southern University

Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on November 13, 2017 Texas State Representative John Zerwas provided the coin toss for Texas Southern University’s October 11th football game against the Southern University Jaguars. Zerwas, who represents District 28, which encompasses northwestern Fort Bend County, was the special guest of TSU President Austin Lane Rep. Zerwas described education as the “great equalizer.” “Texas Southern University provides its students with a high quality education,” Zerwas stated. “Education levels the playing field in society and TSU graduates are professionally and credibly well prepared for the demands of the future workforce. It’s great to be around these students and know that they are the future leaders of Texas.” Rep. Zerwas was accompanied by his wife, Sylvia.
