~Letting My Hate Go~

Posted By: ericka richardson on March 14, 2006 I'm frustrated, my life is going downhill right now I need to regain composure but I don't know how So I turn to my newport box as an easy solution But that only last a minute like a minor delusion I need help but I don't want it, so how do I find it I got a few outlets, but my best one is writting So I'm in my notebook dropping a few lines Wondering if it's helping me or wasting my time Should I start grinding to get what I want, not what I want, but what I need I'm desperate like a mother with a child she can't feed I'm tired of this life that to everyone seems good So at times I think I should Be rid of my soul, but answer me if it would Get rid of the pain that possibly could Change my life in ways I've never thought before The closing of this one hasn't opened another door So when can I restore and regain what I have lost I thought this was my life, so why am I not the boss I'm tired of silly antics that's made to help me through I'm tired of my fake smile, but what happens if I'm true Shyt, let me help by telling you I'ma blow a fucckin knotch and somebody's getting hurt And someone else's self-esteem is getting stomped off in the dirt And the people who thought they knew me is in for a big surprise Because they'll finally get to see what lies beyond these dark brown eyes I have similar ties to a psycho And I think it's bout that time that I let my inner Ike go Don't underestimate my size though I got a vicious bite though It's outrageous and contageous, a poison to mess up ya life's flow So while you clownin' around I'm throwin' down til sundown And the smilin' you was doing turned around into a frown 'Cuz you was fucckin with a chick who has hate laying dormant in her soul Now that all else has failed, I'm letting my hate go By: Ericka Richardson If you enjoyed this article, Join HBCU CONNECT today for similar content and opportunities via email! |

WOW!!! That was sooo deep I couldn't have wrote it better myself, it seems as though you were speaking my life within your first few lines.
