Hamilton wins Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on December 04, 2017 After averaging 30 points per game, Joshua Hamilton (JR/New Iberia, Louisiana) wins Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week for November 28-December 3. This is Wiley College's first basketball player of the week award this season and 19th in all sports combined. The junior guard set a new career-high with 36 points and five three-pointers against Southern University-New Orleans (La.) on Tuesday. Hamilton tacked on 25 points and four rebounds in a 90-70 win over Philander Smith University (Ark.) on Saturday. For the week, the New Iberia, La., native was 23-of-39 from the field (59.0%) and 9-of-15 on three-point attempts. Hamilton leads the RRAC in scoring with 23.6 points per game.
