Largest Inducted Pre-Alumni Council Prepares for the Holidays

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on December 04, 2017 This past month, The Bethune-Cookman University United Negro College Fund National Pre-Alumni Council (NPAC) inducted its inaugural class. Over 160 students cheered for one another as their names were called to receive their official membership certificate, black rose and B-CU NPAC lapel pin. The Fall 2017 Black Rose Membership Induction Ceremony is the symbolic beginning to Bethune-Cookman University students service as Pre-Alumni members and to honor our Founder. First Lady of Bethune-Cookman University, Mrs. Daisy Grimes served as the keynote speaker for this historic event, and shared of her time at B-CU and experiences with the Pre-Alumni Council. “This is a wonderful organization and I am happy to be apart of it,” said Sarita Mason, a sophomore inductee. On December 3, 2017, the students will host their fourth annual Adopt-a-Family Christmas gathering. A local family has been selected to receive a holiday meal and gifts from the Pre-Alumni Council and invited guests.
