Oakwood President Awarded Medallion at Alabama A&M

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on December 14, 2017 Prior to speaking to the 142nd graduating class of Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University on December 8 at the Von Braun Center, Dr. Leslie Pollard, President of Oakwood University, was awarded the Presidential Medallion of Alabama A&M University, for "Influential and Innovative Leadership." Dr. Andrew Hugine, President of Alabama A&M, presented the award on behalf of the Board of Trustees of Alabama A&M University. "I am grateful to the entire team of leaders we have at Oakwood University. Each of us are beneficiaries of the generosity and self-sacrifice of an often-unseen cadre of committed workers. I thank them for their service and receive this on their behalf," observed Dr. Pollard. "God gets the glory and all the honor."
