Posted By: Estella Gambrill on March 15, 2006 RE: An invitation to the Black Women’s Task Force Forum (BWTFF) The Black Women’s Task Force Forum (BWTFF) which is an organization whose stated mission is to equip African American women with the tools, resources, and encouragement needed to seek and reach their own highest level of achievement. All African American female students are invited to attend the May 19-20, 2006 Conference of the BWTFF. There is no question that their college education is of the utmost importance, however, the type of information that will be offered at this conference will give those young women practical information to go along with their academic achievements. This event will give the young ladies an opportunity to meet highly successful African American women who have made great strides and important accomplishments in all walks of life. They will have the opportunity to network and perhaps even discover what they want to do in their own lives. The BWTFF Conference will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center on Friday, May 19 and Saturday, May 20, 2006 with workshops in the following areas: · Financial Literacy · Jobology · Entrepreneurship · Employment · Parenting · Politics · Health (both physical and mental) · And Technology On Saturday, the event will close with an Awards Event and all conference attendees, workshop leaders, and speakers are invited to wear African clothing all day. We are excited about enabling women to overcome the obstacles they face and embrace the success that we know can be theirs. BWTFF is an affiliate of Merge Business Development Systems Inc. which is a 501 © non-profit corporation. Besides Merge Business Development Systems Inc., other sponsors include, but are not limited to The Ajani Group, LLC, Marketing Resources International, LLC, The City of Baltimore Minority Business Development Department, The City of Baltimore Economic Development Office and the Trahan Corporation. New sponsors are being added daily as the word about this dynamic convention gets out. We will have various workhsop presenters for each of the topics and one of our keynote speakers will be Ms. Audrey Chapman, a family therapist and host of a popular radio program on WHUR in Washington, DC. She will speak on developing healthy relationships in our lives.
