Whats up with that?

Posted By: Melisa Enyard on March 15, 2006 Whats good? So here my black azz is again asking for some more advice. I'm really good at giving advice to others(I really am I've been told this numerous times) but I'm not so hot at giving good advice to myself.....Ok so my boyfriend and I have been together for ten months now, but we have been talking to each other for over a year. But this weekend I was snooping (and yes I know it was wrong and I regret it dearly) and I found this note that he has written to himself and it talked about how much he hated me and how we were only together for one thing and all this other stuff( It hurts too much to go into detail) But he wrote it when we were having a really tough time ( back in september). The reason we were having a hard time was all because of me. I had never been in a real relationship before and thought it was okay to talk to other guys. He found out three times that I had been talking to other people. I was just stupid and very afraid of having someone actually love me( he came on pretty serious). But I just can't get this letter out of my head even through he has told me over and over again that he really loves me and he just wrote that to himself b/c he was trying to make himself not like me anymore. People say a lot of thing when they get angry but a letter to himself that sounds off I just feel like college is the time for us transition into adults it should be all about you if you want to have other friends or see other people dont limited yourself to just being with him and crying over him shake it off...

Well, I look at it this way... At least he didn't say it to your face because words really hurt. They hurt your self esteem and the relationship. You can think of it like his way of dealing with his anger by writing inside of doing something really stupid. P.S. I also agree with james, if you are hurting more than you are enjoying the relationship, DO NOT PUT UP WITH IT. leave before you turn him into a stocker...cuz i made that mistake already! Can You blame him? He wrote how he felt, feelings have multiple levels and no one loves the same everyday... I see everyone here is focusing on his letter but not his heart for You that was torn. Deceive not Yourself, You did not talk to those guys in front of him, You did it without him around so You were aware of right and wrong. Love is Love no matter what the age. Take a baby from its mother and place it in the arms of another woman and that bay knows and has feelings. King Solomon solved a problem between 2 women fighting over a bay. One agreed to have the bay cut in half, the other said give it to her so the baby will live. I say this young man is more mature and not in Your category. Respectfully. You want Your pie and cake to and don't care about how far down the road this can affect him. I write blogs from exactly what You state from the same spirit of You years ago. My 2 ex's from highschool said the same things but try to pursue me now unto this day after all the babies, beatdowns, abuse and harsh things they have been through. Keep living, we all reap. Nothing I am claiming for You or wish. In time life will show You whether right or whether wrong. By the way, s*x is a bonding of spirits and the same as a wedding covenant. What You are doing is lusting, hormones are raging. Estrogen is given by God and You are at that age and we as people have to be real about that as that Young girl of Song of Solomon. Love when it is hurt is pain.... I can say soo much more here. By the way, males that just want some, will ^5 You all day and encourage You. But in college You will be dealing with males that will blow Your mind. I know, been there.
