The Student Preview Weekend is a Two-Day event for Prospective Students. This weekend is an opportunity to explore why you belong at Wilberforce and commit to attending the University by our Priority Deadline of May 1, 2018.

Explore Academic Life

11:00AM-5:00PM | Engage the academic experience as if you were a Wilberforce student through a class! Prospective students join current classes for a meeting of the minds.



You Belong @ Wilberforce Luncheon

12:00PM-1:00PM | Location: Health and Wellness Center, Aerobics Room
Formal Welcome and lunch with Dr. Elfred Anthony Pinkard, Wilberforce University’s 22nd President



You Belong @ Wilberforce Workshops

1:00PM-5:00PM | Follow your customized schedule to explore why you belong at Wilberforce through our Cooperative Education Program, Financial Aid, Daniel Payne Scholarship Program, Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, WU Media, and Student Life Programs.





Taste of Xenia

6:00PM-8:00PM | Explore the Xenia Area by visiting the various food spots in town! Get on the bus with your group leader and take your ticket to the selected restaurants to enjoy a taste of Xenia!

10:00AM-12:00PM | Explore our institutional purpose, your future, and our goals to support you, through an introduction to the Wilberforce Entrepreneurial Mindset. Enjoy this experience alongside current students and alumni. Learn from prominent entrepreneurs, connectors, and idea generators.

12:00PM-1:30pm | Location: Alumni Multiplex



Student Views: Wilberforce Traditions

2:00PM-4:30pm | Location: Campus Fountain – Explore Campus and Community Spaces from a student perspective with a current student leader.

You Belong @ Wilberforce Farewell Gathering

8:00PM | Location: Student Union – Buses begin departing from campus.





Getting to Campus

Wilberforce University is located in Wilberforce, OH. Students can travel on their own for the weekend or access a You Belong @ Wilberforce University bus. Students needing transportation to campus should indicate this request when they register.



How to Dress

Dress comfortably. Spring time at Wilberforce University is a time for renewal, which brings rain, birds, and plants blossoming!



Where to Stay

Prospective students who are registered will stay in campus housing with other students. Housing assignments will be distributed upon arrival.



What to Bring

Please bring materials for an overnight stay such as a pillow, sleeping bag, toiletries, clothing, coat, shower shoes, medications, etc.
