Posted By: Xavier University of Louisiana MPH-Health Equity Program on February 21, 2018 It is with great pleasure that we announce our new Master of Public Health (MPH), Health Equity Program. The Master of Public Health (MPH) is a 45-credit hour program that includes MPH core foundation courses (e.g., epidemiology, biostatistics, public health policy, etc.) and a range of other courses to choose from related to determinants of health equity and health promotion. The program will be offered in an on-campus format with courses being offered in late afternoon and evening to accommodate work schedules. This degree will benefit those with an undergraduate degree in Public Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Premed, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, History, etc. The knowledge gained through the MPH in Health Equity prepares students for careers with various agencies in federal and state health departments, health-related organizations, and large corporations such as hospitals and insurance companies.
