ASU's Small Business Development Center Presents:
Franchising as a Career, Investment or Both

Learn from a franchising expert how to own a franchise; what franchise companies look for & more

This workshop is free, open to all; plus lunch is included

WHEN: Thursday (March 1) from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with registration @ 10:30 a.m. (all free).
WHERE: Small Business Resource Center located at 600 S. Court Street in Montgomery.

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Alabama State University will host a franchising workshop on Thursday (March 1), from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Small Business Resource Center, which is located at 600 S. Court Street in Montgomery. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.

This session will be led by Jerry Bird with FranNet of Alabama and East Tennessee who is an expert and consultant on franchises.



The participants in this workshop will hear discussions including identifying what type of business owner one must be in order to run a franchise; learning some of the misconceptions about franchising; finding out what franchise companies are really looking for in a business owner, and more.

This is a lunch and learn workshop and it is a free event and is open to the public.

The Alabama Small Business Development Center at ASU is part of a network of statewide, inter-institutional programs to enhance economic growth in Alabama by providing management and technical assistance to small businesses. Professional business advisors are available in 10 Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) located at member university partners across the state, which includes ASU.
