The Women's and Men's Basketball teams from Virginia Union University are taking home the title. With the victory, Virginia Union is now the fifth team since 1975 to have both the men's and women's teams to claim the title in the same year; while receiving an automatic bid to the Division II 2018 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) tournament.
