THE HIGHEST HONOR

THE HIGHEST HONOR
Posted By: Ann Mack on March 24, 2018

Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].
~3 JOHN 1:2, Amplified

23 March 2018

Someone told me, approximately a month ago, that change is not easy nor is it quick; it takes time! But, he also forgot to take into consideration that I am a black female born into a society that does not favor who I am. Not even a little bit! And, society or the majority which represents those in position of power and control to influence or tip the scales in the name of equality and ALL FAIRNESS, refuse to change to include seeing me as being a very viable part of this world. As a woman, God has purposed HIS DAUGHTERS as well as His sons; and, He has permitted us – HIS DAUGHTERS - to partake of our inheritance in the absence of any sons born to our earthly parents (See Number 26 and 36)! Incidentally, the status quo wants we - and others who look like me - to believe that we have no place in this world which was created by our Abba Father as having a right to legal citizenship with all the bells and whistles! In stead, we are viewed as legal aliens who should not feel entitled to a piece of the pie in peace!

Each and every person (EVERYONE to include ALL colors of the rainbow) was created by God, the DIVINE TRUE SOURCE, with a purpose for a purpose in accordance to HIS WILL and not ours! Somewhere and somehow throughout the history of humankind, the created has put himself in the place of the CREATOR in being the head to decide who should belong and who shouldn't. Man has attempted to categorize and relabel in accordance to a level of importance or value, the hierarchy since the beginning of time. Some folks have even put their pets on a higher pedestal than people depending upon who is doing the analyzing or grading.

God has a DIVINE ORDER in how HE recognizes or views everything! And HIS value system is very unique! He sees ALL His children as being equal, but their roles as being unique to His order is significant to our position and purpose. Let's look at Noah and Abraham for instance! Noah was given the role of bringing his family and others to safety out of the way of the flood, but a number of them who were intent on following their own will refused to honor Noah's God-appointed assignment and they were destroyed by water. In obedience, Noah honored God by taking heed to His command and restarting civilization.

Abram was renamed Abraham (see Genesis 17:4-5) which means the father of many Nations. He and his wife Sarah were the parents to Jacob who was renamed Israel. Jacob, the patriarch from which the initial blood of the 12 Tribes of Israel flows - in whom we are ALL descendants, although reluctant at first - accepted his calling on his life in honor of God. For this reason, I cannot and will not agree with deportation immigration laws. If the TRUTH be told, as descendants of the 12 Tribes of Israel, we are ALL immigrants who have migrated from our ancestors’ native lands to take up occupancy in our current places of residency. Leviticus 25:10-13 states, “And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim freedom [for the slaves] throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee (year of remission) for you, and each of you shall return to his own [ancestral] property [that was sold to another because of poverty], and each of you shall return to his family [from whom he was separated by bondage]. That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee for you; you shall not sow [seed], nor reap what reseeds itself, nor gather the grapes of the uncultivated vines. For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its crops out of the field. ‘In this Year of Jubilee each of you shall return to his own [ancestral] property.”

Ironically, it has taken me most of my life up until now to realize and embrace my God-given purpose to understand the true meaning of my greatest or highest honor - like Jacob after many wrestling matches with God! If only I had come to know much sooner what I know now, I would have saved myself a great deal of heartache, pain and health issues. But, then I would have no platform or testimonies in which to share with you concerning my journey or quest in honor of the highest honor! By yielding to God, it has no longer become important for me to prove myself to man in wanting to be apart of the rat race to climb to the top in pursuit of more. Thus says the Lord, "Cursed is the man who trusts in and relies on mankind, making [weak, fault human] flesh his strength, And whose mind heart turn away from the Lord. For he will be like a shrub in the [parched] desert; and shall not see prosperity when it comes, but shall live in the rocky places of the wilderness, in an uninhibited salt land. (~Jeremiah 17:5-6, AMP) Sure, we always want more and should be granted the same opportunities across the board to obtain more; but, does having more fit in God's plans for our life. Would we be good stewards over more? Would we allow more to hinder us from fulfilling our God-appointed purpose? I want to fulfill God's perfect will for my life!

For years, I allowed double standards, worriation, the fear of the unknown and bullying from others to create unnecessary stress in my life to impact my health in the name of wanting more. I was going around in circles while growing tired and frustrated of attempting of attempting to please man; grasping at air! The expectation to excel in our jobs or careers is different for each individual; not all of us are expected to work as hard to receive the same compensation. God's criteria or guidelines for blessing us with goodness doesn't change and the expectation for achievement is the same for everyone. Man, on the other hand, keeps moving the finished line with no intention of making good on his promises.

And my God will meet ALL your needs according to the riches if His Glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, NIV).

Much of what we experience does not happen by coincidence! Nothing simply happens without permission from God. Everything is allowed by Him, but not with the intent to harm us. With the intent of moving us into position for His Glory. The positioning can be a smooth transition or a struggle and quite challenging if we fail to honor God's will by leaning towards our own understanding.

DIVINE LIBERTY

What is honor? What does true honor look like? How can we honor God, ourselves and others? John 4:24 says, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.”

When I think back to my former self, I was wounded, messed up and confused about God and the people in the world! Values weren't being respected, morals weren't being displayed and every man, woman or child was doing whatever whenever and however. Much of that still hasn't changed, but my PERSPECTIVE is different now. My entire FOCUS has been readjusted! My DESIRE to be who God created me to be in seeing myself through HIS EYES has intensified and I am no longer looking to man to validate me or approve of me as a person or a CHILD OF GOD!

Honoring man's idea of SUCCESS in accordance to this world system is no longer a priority! Honoring God for His persistence, FAITHFULNESS and willingness to hold me close while my mind was being twisted is my sole priority! Carrying out my DIVINE PURPOSE in connection with God's mission is my way of honoring Him for His UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and confidence in me! He protected my heart and mind during my spiritual PROCESS in obtaining divine liberty through REVELATION! Man can do what he will; but, MY LIFE and SPIRIT belongs to God forever! I am internally free and eternally grateful!

THE SOLUTION IS LIFE ON GOD'S TERMS as referenced by Romans 8:1-2 of the message Bible, “With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.” I want to reverence God and all His Glory!

REFERENCES:

Numbers 26:33-34 ~ Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but only daughters, and the names of Zelophehad’s daughters were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. These are the families (clans) of Manasseh; and those who were numbered of them were 52,700. 26:52-56 ~And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Among these the land shall be divided as an inheritance according to the number of names. To the larger tribe you shall give the larger inheritance, and to the smaller tribe the smaller inheritance; each tribe shall be given its inheritance according to its numbers. But the land shall be divided by lot. They shall receive their inheritance according to the names of the tribes of their fathers (tribal ancestors). According to the [location selected by] lot, their inheritance shall be divided between the larger and the smaller [groups].”
A Law of Inheritance: Numbers 27:1-10 ~ Then the [five] daughters of Zelophehad the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, from the tribes of Manasseh [who was] the son of Joseph, approached [with a request]. These are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. They stood before Moses, Eleazar the priest, the leaders, and all the congregation at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle), saying, “Our father died in the wilderness. He was not among those who assembled together against the Lord in the company of Korah, but he died for his own sin [as did all those who rebelled at Kadesh], and he had no sons. Why should the name of our father be removed from his family because he had no son? Give to us a possession (land) among our father’s brothers.” So Moses brought their case before the Lord. Then the Lord said to Moses, “The request of the daughters of Zelophehad is justified. You shall certainly give them a possession as an inheritance among their father’s brothers, and you shall transfer their father’s inheritance to them. Further, you shall say to the Israelites, ‘If a man dies and has no son, you shall transfer his inheritance to his daughter. If a man has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers. If a man has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father’s brothers. If his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his nearest relative in his own family, and he shall take possession of it. It shall be a statute and ordinance to the Israelites, just as the Lord has commanded Moses.’”
Five (5) = GRACE
Glory, Honor and Dignity [Hebrew: kâbad, kaw-bad’ or kâbâd. Literally means “to be heavy or weighty.”] – Proverbs 25:2 ~ It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
Liberty [Hebrew: darar, means to flow freely, to fly away or freedom.] – Isaiah 61:1-2 King James Version (KJV) ~ The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
