Posted By: Tanika Hairston on March 20, 2006 This is one that i just flowed with, as it came to my mind, i wrote it down...so its not like my usual poetry, but i'm sure ya'll will enjoy. It's like being stuck in a rut. A pit of irony that no matter how hard we try we can't escape. But that's what its like to be unofficially official. I hold back so much because i don't wanna get caught up...but it happened anyway and I'm unofficially here to stay. It hurts to know that at any second you could be with someone else. But what could i do? Not being officially official gives me no say-so...it'd still hurt the same tho. My friends all think I'm crazy cause I don't have all of you. Say I could do much better than to just have part of you--but if this is the only way I can have you at all, then being unofficial will just have to do. Being unofficially official is much better than being officially unofficial--so I take what i can get and hold on as tight as i can because I'd hate to lose such a wonderful man...But are you so wonderful to keep me hanging on like this? I guess I'll have to wait and see what time tells us is meant to be--and it'll be officially official or officially nothing at all.
