While on campus, the film crew spent the day interviewing Morgan faculty, including Lecturer Cassandra Dickerson from the Family and Consumer Sciences Department, and a number of the University’s fashion forward students. According to National Geographic, “Fashion goes beyond vibrant fabric and stitches. It’s an extension of who we are and our community. It provides a fresh canvas for people to express and further define themselves and what their culture means to them—and historically black colleges have long played an important role in this expression of style.” Visit the National Geographic website to learn more. http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/msunews/~3/...
