About Our Guest: Denise Marie August was born in Los Angeles, CA to Alfred and Lottie August who both are up with the Lord. Denise is the youngest of five children. Denise grew up in Oakland, California (Sobrante Park). She is an Domestic Violence Survivor. She is and inspiration, motivation, and encouraging speaker. She is an advocate for domestic violence and teen pregnancy. She will let you know that she is also an advocate for God. She will keep it real with you and let you know that it is because of God's love that she is where she is right now today. Not only is she an Published Author, writer, speaker, she is also a praise dancer, where she praise God through her dance. Denise enjoys telling the world about how God brought her back to him and how he had kept her with him every since she rededicated herself back to him. To let people know that they are not alone. Denise is a member at Saint Matthew Christian Church in Sacramento, California under Wayne Sheppard who is her Pastor. Denise loves sharing the word of God with others and she always says, ?I?m just keeping it real with the word, it?s not about me it's all about God. I'm just his servant! Denise also says that, "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me and that God will provide". God is who she always relies on. That God and only God will supply her every need and that she leans and depends on God to take care of her. And most of all, God shows her love grace and mercy each and every day.
