Produced in limited quantities adding to the brand's cache, they partnered with the fashion industry’s leading retailers, such as Nordstrom's, to expand its online and brick & mortar presence worldwide. In 2018, father and son Dr. Kerry Cox and Kyle Cox acquired the brand and made history as the only sneaker company owned by an African-American father-son team, Dr. Kerry Cox is a Fisk alumnus, both he and son Kyle are members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
