Texas College To Hold Annual Opening School Convocation

The Convocation will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in The Gus F. Taylor Gymnasium on the Texas College campus. The speaker for the occasion is Q’Juan Dunlap Gray, Senior Buyer, NCH Corporation, Irving, Texas & Former Texas College National Alumni Association President. This event is free and open to the public. About Texas College (TC) Celebrating over 120 years of providing educational opportunities, Texas College is a historical black college founded in 1894 by a group of CME ministers. Our mission, which continues to embody the principles of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, is to ensure that the student body experiences balanced intellectual, psychological, social and spiritual development, aimed at enabling them to become active productive members of society where they live and work.
