Reporting to the Registrar at Hunter College, the Enrollment Registrar Manager’s responsibilities, in addition to the duties within CUNY Title Overview, include but are not limited to:
-Directly assists the Registrar in the development, documentation, and implementation of practices that contribute to achieving the goals of the Office of the Registrar.
-Overseas and manages processes involved in the collection, entry, and retrieval of student record data.
-Manages, supervises, trains, coaches, and evaluates the staff of the Office of the Registrar.
-Assists Registrar in overseeing all CUNYfirst updates and processes, including CUNYfirst setup in support of registration, withdrawal, and end-of-term processes.
-Supervises, coordinates, manages the implementation of all system-related technologies for the Registrar’s Office, and serves in a lead role as a project manager for all technology initiatives for the department.
-Designs and develops reports relating to the student information system and presents data reports as requested by faculty and staff.
-Manages processes involving Registrar activities related to “Return to Title IV” funding.
-Serves as a liaison with the Hunter College Instructional Computing and Information Technology department, serves as a member of the BARFIT (Bursar, Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, and IT) committee and assists with securing technological services for needs within the department.
-Manages student information system security requests which include creating, maintaining and approving of student security classes and forms.
-Oversees the management of Permits which includes enhancing the processing of permits; posting of permit courses and grades; and rectifying issues related to the CUNY EPermit system.
-Represent the Registrar at key meetings with Deans and Department Chairs and act on his/her behalf as directed.
-Collaborates with campus-wide offices, units, and departments on a wide range of issues including student enrollment, registration, billing, financial aid, and student progress towards degree requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
-Master’s degree preferred.
-At least six years of higher education administration experience, preferably in a Registrar’s Office operation.
-Demonstrated project management experience and proven ability in the planning and implementation of technical designs and solutions to solve business problems.
-Supervisory/management experience required.
-Knowledge of PeopleSoft Student Records pillar strongly preferred.
-Knowledge of PS Query and SQL strongly preferred.

CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW
- Manages College registration operations and related activities.


- Oversees daily office operations; supervises the maintenance of accurate and secure student records; determines residency eligibility; enforces all retention and release policies regarding the confidentiality of student data
- Improves and maintains department performance regarding information processing through effective system management and staff development
- Reports on all matters pertaining to academic standards, academic petitions, student progress, and maintenance of enrollment eligibility
- Assists with developing strategic plan, evaluating outcomes and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
- Prepares analytical and statistical reports for management
- Provides auditors with appropriate documentation as requested
- May administer Registrar activities related to Return of Title lV funding
- May manage professional and/or clerical staff
- Performs related duties as assigned.
