Johnson C. Smith University opens doors with its first Open House designed specifically for Latino students

Smith University (JCSU) will open its doors Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 for Latino students—as well as their teachers, counselors and families—searching for opportunities to go to college. There will be information sessions, on-site admissions and a casual dinner. This open house is designed to connect Latino students who are considering continuing their education with a strong network of JCSU faculty, staff, alumni and students. These Golden Bulls will offer practical advice on navigating college inside and outside of the classroom, and share their own experiences at JCSU, as well as invaluable information on financial aid, scholarships (regardless of documentation status), the admissions process, and the different career programs offered at JCSU. Onsite admissions will be conducted for students who present their original high school transcripts, SAT or ACT scores, and complete the application. The $25 application fee will be waived for attendees.
