Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on December 05, 2018

Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl featuring the Southwestern Athletic Conference’s (SWAC) Champion Alcorn State University Braves taking on the Middle Eastern Athletics Conference’s (MEAC) Champion North Carolina A&T State University Bulldogs on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. Central (12 p.m. EST) and the game will be broadcasted live on ABC. Alcorn has been designated the home team for this year’s HBCU national championship game.

Alcorn fans are strongly encouraged to directly purchase their tickets online from the University at http://www.alcorn.edu/tickets or . target=_blank>www.impacttickets.com. Alcorn State will keep all revenue proceeds from tickets purchased through the university’s ticket website. This also guarantees fans will be sitting with the Brave Nation for the game. Through the university, fans can purchase tickets for seats in Sections, 114, 116, 117 and Club Levels 109, 110, 111, 210 and 211. The Sounds of Dyn-o-Mite Marching band will be seated in Section 115.

Tickets will not be sold on campus. All tickets are received electronically via an email address and must be displayed for admission using your smartphone device. Do not print tickets. This is a Mercedes Benz Stadium policy to help ease fans entry into the stadium and environmental sustainability. Information on how to accept and see game day tickets on a mobile device will be included in the email once tickets are purchased.

Tickets for seats directly behind the band are $15, while lower level end zone tickets will be $25 and lower level sideline tickets are $50. The best available $85 lower level club tickets come with access to the Mercedes-Benz Club. There are a limited number of $155 lower level VIP Club seats which include food and beverage and access to the AMG Lounge or Suntrust Club.

Fans may book their hotel rooms at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center North Tower – the official team hotel using the block “ESPN Celebration Bowl”. Rooms at the Omni may be sold out. Additionally, the Hilton Downtown Atlanta will be the host hotel for the Alcorn band. Fans may also book rooms at this hotel using the same block code.

Bowl organizers have planned a number of fan-focused events and activities on game day in the International Plaza on the northeast side of the stadium. As a part of the “Celebration of Service” the Ultimate HBCU Greek Homecoming Tailgate: Home Depot Back Yard opens at 8 a.m. The Celebration Bowl Trophy Tour presented by Coca-Cola takes place at 9 a.m. followed by Fan Fest at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., the invitation-only ESPN VIP Pre-Game Party will be held at the exclusive Harrah’s Club inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Channel 2 Celebration Bowl Pregame Show starts at 11 a.m.
