However, the success of a party depends on being able to get people to come. Here are four ways to bring in the boys when hosting a dorm-warming party. Promote the PartyDid you hear about the party that wasn't promoted? Of course you didn't. You need to get the word out about your party as soon as possible. There are numerous ways to do this. For starters, you should create an event on social media and spread it around as much as possible. You should also put posters up around your residential hall to let people know. Finally, you should never forget the value of word-of-mouth when it comes to attracting guests. If you don’t know too many guys at college yet, ask your female friends to invite the ones they know. Have Plenty of FoodRefreshments are at the heart of any quality party, and most guys love free food. You want to get dishes that your guests will all appreciate. An assortment of chips and dips is always welcome. You also can't go wrong with pizza delivery, which is both convenient and affordable. Order a variety of pizzas with different, popular toppings like pepperoni and mushrooms, and see just how much your guests appreciate the deliciousness. Invite NeighborsIf you don't know where to start with your invite list, take a look around you. There are neighbors in your dorm that would surely love to come to a party. Even if you don't know them personally, this is a great way to break the ice. When you see your neighbors in the hall, just casually let them know about your party. You could be on the verge of starting a lifelong friendship (or romantic relationship) through your invitation. Make Sure the Party Is ExcitingParties should be fun in a way that allows guests to let down their hair and forget their worries. It's not enough to just throw a party. You need to throw a party with purpose. There should be great music, fun games, and lively conversation going on. As a host, you need to make sure you're doing all you can to show your guests a good time. But don’t forget to have a good time yourself. Approach that cute boy in the corner.
