Here are four careers to consider. Loan OfficerLoan officers aid in facilitating the process of loan application for either business or personal purposes through the evaluation of the possible growth and financial reliability of the business or person. They require knowing the various loan types that are suitable to the expressed needs of an applicant. These professionals can work in a broad spectrum of fields, like commercial loans or mortgage loans. Hence, they need to have the ability to answer inquiries regarding the application and approval of loans while abiding by federal and state laws. This career needs a bachelor’s degree in business. Additionally, it may be necessary to have a license depending on the loan field you operate. Financial ManagerFinancial managers handle the oversight and upkeep of the financial status of a firm. This position is different from the accountant position in that it needs the professionals to have a high level of analytical skills. For instance, financial managers need to have expert knowledge in the company’s field to be able to predict and deal with any changes in the financial environment of that industry while being aware of the regulations. The career needs you to have a bachelor’s degree in finance as well as knowledge of the field you are operating. TellerTellers are the pinnacle of customer service when it comes to banks. They aid in completing standard transactions, like making deposits into the accounts of the clients and cashing checks. This position needs attention to detail and a high level of accuracy because they need to make sure there is balance in the cash drawers and records of all transactions are kept. The position only needs a high school diploma, and one requires on-the-job training before starting the job. AccountantAccountants must draft and overlook the financial records of a firm or individual clients. They manage books, oversee budgets, assess the taxes owed, and find ways to boost cost efficiency and profits. These professionals emphasize the management of money, though they may seldom get involved with actual cash. This career path needs at least an accounting bachelor’s degree. However, specific positions may need a master’s degree. Also, there is a requirement for one to acquire graduate-level education to become a CPA (Certified Public Accounting). Either way, looking into accounting school may be a good path to follow if working with numbers appeals to you. Due to the sensitivity of the roles, most companies will try to get the person they think has the highest integrity. They do not want to risk their money being stolen.
