HBCUCONNECT.COM, in partnership with one of the world’s largest innovative technology companies, Google X, The Moonshoot Factory, will offer black professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area the opportunity to network with other African American professionals and meet with representatives from X to learn more about available career opportunities.

Conversations between attendees and X’s leadership could lead to interviews and new careers for some attendees!

X is looking for African Americans with experience in the following areas to register for the event:
• Robotics Professionals
• Software & System Engineers
• Solution Designers/Strategists
• Program/Project Managers
• Electrical & Mechanical Engineers
• Consultants & Analysts
• Security Engineers
• Finance & Accounting Professionals
• Legal Professionals

Event Details:
• WHEN: Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 6pm – 9pm PST

The reception will feature talks from Captain of Moonshots, Astro Teller, and Michael Hill, one of the Engineers at X responsible for pulling together the event as a part of the company’s Diaspora Black Employee Resource Group.



The CEO of HBCUCONNECT.COM, Will Moss, will also be attending the event with X’s recruitment team and hiring managers. “We expect to see lots of high caliber professionals in attendance looking to land interviews with the Moonshot factory, as well as learn more about what life at X is like from a Black perspective” said Will Moss, CEO of HBCUConnect.com.
